Mac Deep Cleaner — End-User License Agreement · Last Updated: July 6, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mac Deep Cleaner application ("the App") provided by Litao Chen ("we", "us", "the Developer"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the Mac App Store Usage Rules. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not copy (except as allowed by the Usage Rules), modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App.
The App helps you find and remove files to reclaim disk space. It is designed to move items to the Trash (where they can be restored until the Trash is emptied) and to offer an in-app undo where possible. You acknowledge that:
The App is free to use with a limit on how much can be cleaned. An optional one-time in-app purchase ("Unlimited Cleaning") removes that limit. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not process payments and cannot issue App Store refunds; contact Apple for billing or refund requests.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL CORRECTLY IDENTIFY WHICH FILES ARE SAFE TO DELETE, OR THAT ANY DELETED DATA CAN BE RECOVERED. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE APP CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HERE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF FILES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD $10.00.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are between you and the Developer only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on a U.S. prohibited-parties list.
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. On termination you must stop using the App and delete it.
We may update these Terms; the "Last Updated" date will change and continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of that country.
